Kingdom Merger Announcement - Phase 6

2021-02-20

Greetings Lords!

For this server merger announcement, we'd like to provide you with specific details about the Kingdom Merger. We have also received a lot of feedback on the Kingdom Merger, and we'll be answering common questions in this announcement.

Q1: When will the Kingdom Merger begin?

A: In order to safeguard the security of your valuable accounts, we plan to conduct two Beta Tests after the Covenant Signing is finished. At that time, some Covenants will be selected to be merged in advance. After the experience is deemed stable, the Kingdom Merger for the remaining Kingdoms will start.

Q2. What changes and effects will the Kingdom Merger bring?

A: After the Kingdom Merger, the following changes will occur:

1. All Alliance Fortresses and Towers will be removed, and Resource Buildings and Communal Buildings will be automatically put away. After the Kingdom Merger, Alliance resources will be compensated according to the number of Fortresses and Towers built by each Alliance before Kingdom Merger.

2. The Castles in all the involved Kingdoms will be reset and open to new contests. After the Kingdom Merger, a new Castle event will be opened. You can earn points by capturing Castles, but there will be no rewards for occupation. All rewards will be given based on the Castles' points ranking.

3. The Kings and Accolades of all Kingdoms involved in the Kingdom Merger will be temporarily removed. After the Kingdom Merger, a new King will be decided by a new Excalibur Invasion event.

4. Before the Kingdom Merger, if your Kingdom has some Kingdom Skills enabled, such as Rapid Training, Troop Surge or Recruitment Drive, these statuses will be reserved in the new Kingdom. However, if your Kingdom did not activate these Skills before the merger, the new Kingdom will be unable to do so due to the absence of the King. It's recommended you activate Kingdom Skills before the Kingdom Merger officially starts.

5. All Relics will be taken back and after the Kingdom Merger and released again in future events. The original ways to obtain them (such as through auctions or events, etc.) will be closed. The details will be announced after related events start. In addition, all Relic owners will receive a Souvenir Relic, a Souvenir Accolade and corresponding compensation after the Kingdom Merger. The Souvenir Relic still offers some attributes but no special benefits. They are permanent and can be equipped in the Temporary Relic slot.

6. Due to Kingdom Merger, there might be repetitive Alliance names or acronyms. If such occasions happen, we will add certain characters to avoid the same names, and at the same time give Alliance Leaders rename compensation.

7. If players have the same Lord names, we will also add characters to avoid repetition, and at the same time give corresponding rename compensation.

8. After the Kingdom Merger, we will close the Merchant Fair.

9. After the Kingdom Merger, the Undead Trader's goods will be uniformly readjusted uniformly. Lords can see changes through the feature.

10. After the Kingdom Merger, Leaderboards will be re-ranked according to the data of all Kingdoms in a Covenant. If multiple parties have the same score, the one who reached it first will be ranked higher.

11. After the Kingdom Merger, the Leaderboards for all Kingdoms will be renewed with new Kingdom numbers.

Q3. What will happen to Kingdoms that have not joined any Covenant in the Kingdom Merger?

A: A suitable Covenant will be chosen automatically and the Kingdom will join it during the Covenant Signing.

Q4. If I am the Leader Kingdom but no Kingdom joins my Covenant, what will happen?

A: First, we will try to find Member Kingdoms for you. If no suitable members are found, your Kingdom will go through Kingdom Merger alone as a Single Kingdom.

Q5. What's different about going through Kingdom Merger alone as a Single Kingdom?

A: 1. Single Kingdoms will still follow the processes related to Kingdom Merger.

2. The differences from the multi-Kingdom merger are as follows:

-Unlike a multi-Kingdom merger, Alliance Territory in the Single Kingdom will not be removed.

-Unlike in a multi-Kingdom merger, the Relics of the Single Kingdom will not be taken back.

-The following changes will be the same as a multi-Kingdom merger: Kingdom number will be changed, the King and Titles removed, Castles reset, Merchant Fair closed, Undead Trader goods adjusted, etc.

-There will be no issues with repetitive names and Leaderboards renewal since there is only one Kingdom involved.

3. Please note that although it has not been merged with other Kingdoms, the Kingdom number will still be reset.

Q6. What should I know about Kingdom Merger Beta Tests?

A: After confirming the participant Kingdoms in Beta Tests, we will notify all involved Lords. When the test begins, the relevant Kingdoms will have an update for some time. After the update ends, the Kingdom Merger for the selected Kingdoms will be finished and the test will begin.

Q7. Is there anything I need to pay attention to during Beta Tests of the Kingdom Merger?

A: During Beta Tests, participating players should pay attention to any possible exceptions that occur to their accounts and report it immediately if anything occurs. We will solve them ASAP.

Q8. What's different about Beta Test Kingdom Mergers as opposed to the official Kingdom Merger?

A: There is no difference between Beta Tests and the official Kingdom Merger. We will optimize some details based on your feedback during the Beta Tests.

Q9. Will the Kingdoms participating in Beta Tests merge again when Kingdom Merger officially begins?

A: No, the Kingdoms in Beta Tests will have completed the Kingdom Merger, and will experience the new content in advance. No subsequent merger is needed.
